Trec Organiser Training 

A useful date for the diary – 25 February 2012, The British Horse Society is organising a BHS TREC Organisers Training day. This training will be beneficial for new and experienced organisers alike, covering the following topics: Event management, risk assessments, PTV course building, Serious Incident Plan, hat tagging, permissions and medical and veterinary support. The role of the organiser, traceur and Technical Delegate will also be discussed in detail.

Please find below the new and only standards for hats for those competing at Area and Championships.PLEASE - make sure your hats comply BEFORE you arrive at the Area qualifier.You MUST NOT get on a horse at the qualifier UNTIL you have had your hat tagged.
If the hat does not conform YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE.

Laurie Punnett Memorial Trophy
Amy Humfrey with Dexter and Chloe Goldsbrowne with First Class VIII from Cwm Derwen Riding Club scored 81.4%, the highest percentage in an Area qualifying test. 
They took the Pairs Qualifier at the Area Dressage on July 10th 2011 at 
Cothi Bridge

Cwmaman Riding Club have been selected as the 2010 winners of this prestigious award.

Cwmaman have been awarded this status based on their overall performance at the BRC Championships that have taken place throughout 2010.

Laurie Punnett was Chairman of Gower Riding Club for 25 years. He was Area 21 Representative and Official Steward for many years before also taking on the role of British Riding Clubs Chairman. He did a huge amount for the BRC movement and Area 21 and is greatly missed.
